West Coast Multihulls is here to help every sailor, at any stage, make the most of their catamaran adventure, whether you’re just getting started, or ready to cut ties and sail over the horizon on your own cat. WCM offers visitors the best in San Diego sailing charters and learn-to-sail vacations. Sun, temperate climate, a vibrant city and some of the best cruising waters in America make San Diego Bay the premier charter destination on the west coast.

WCM is proud to partner with the American Sailing Association (ASA) to become a world leader in sailing instruction specializing in Catamaran Certifications. Our ASA Award Winning Instructors are passionate about sailing and living the cruising lifestyle. We have certified thousands of students since 1999 with our unique liveaboard classes for beginners and experienced sailors who want to become experts at sailing Catamarans. Our goal is to teach our sailors to be confident and competent so they are ready to charter or buy a cruising Catamaran anywhere in the world!

Q Can we sail to Catalina?

You can! But not in a single day. Catalina trips are best if you make it at least a 5 day trip, and 7-10 days is better.

Q Can we bring our own food and drinks?

You're very welcome to bring your own. Or we can provision for your or arrange catering for your group.

Q We have a large group. How many can we have aboard?

USCG regulations limit our cats to 12 people plus captain. If your group is larger, consider chartering two boats, and setting up some super fun informal racing!
